Mark's Story
Life
Retired from the US Army after 42 years in Jan 2020 as a Command Sergeant Major from Joint Base Bullis-Sam Houston. I currently work for a Professional Services Company in the defense and security industry as the COO; I loved serving my country and now I serve by working for the charity I helped create, Special Operations Charity Network (SOCN); I am shooting competitively again after a 5 year hiatus, I oversee the SOCN Shooting Sports Ambassador Team; I have two grandchildren and I spend a lot of time...Expand for more
with them & my wife, Deb. Deb finished her Masters program and got her ANP (Nurse Practitioner) certification in Sep 2011, she retired from Nursing after 25 yrs in May 2023. She now shoots competitively with me and the SOCN Team when we compete in the Steel Challenge series. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the next reunion, which will hopefully be in 2028, we are all getting a little long in the tooth and we should get together more often, even if it's just a casual night out, like last time.
