Mark's Story
Life
At Faith Baptist, I was best known as the little brother of Martha Rushdoony, who everybody remembers. A typical conversation at the 2008 reunion began, "Oh, yea, I remember you. Is Martha here?"
I went to Virginia my senior year of HS and after I graduated there, I went back to LA and went to Los Angeles Baptist College (now The Master's), graduating in 1975. I then taught High School in Virginia for three years, getting married in 1976 to Darle...Expand for more
ne, who I had met my senior year in Virginia. In 1978 I moved to Calaveras County, California, where I remain. I have worked for the Chalcedon Foundation, a Christian non-profit educational worldview foundation, in numerous capacities since 1978, and have been its president since 1998. I am still happily married (usually) to Darlene and have four wonderful (usually) children and, as of 2008, four wonderful (usually) grandchildren to whom I am "Papa."
