Mark's Story
Life:
Graduated Gunn in 1970.
Got a job in a small advertising agency, Miller-Stoll.
Moved to Nantucket.
Attended Carnegie-Mellon in Pittsburgh; didn't finish; left in the middle of my junior year.
Went to work for Apple in 1985.
Left Apple for Claris in 1987.
Left Claris (stupid idea) in 1997.
Came east and worked at odd jobs until I started working for GSK in 1999.
Left GSK (seemed like a good idea at the time) in 2003 and moved to Florida.
Couldn't get arrested.
Moved back when GSK wanted me back in 2004.
When they were done with me, did various graphics jobs in the area.
Got a job with BMS, yet another pharmaceutical giant, in 2006.

I've been recovering since.

The 1979 photo above (with my then-wife Rhoda (who died on my birthday in 2012) and my first car, a 1966 Land Rover Model 88. I miss it more than her, sad to say) was a little after graduation, but I looked about the same.
The current photo is me at the rehab center. The eyepatch is due to a doubled-vision problem that's supposed to go away but hasn't yet. The gray in the beard? Well, aging is not the worst alternative, trust me...
