Mark's Story
Life
After high school, I received a degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University and an MBA in Marketing from Loyola University. After 25 years in the high tech industry, I decided it was time to move on to a new career. I went back to school (National-Louis University) to get a teaching certificate to teach high school math.. I did my student teaching at Mundelein High School (Mundelein, IL) in Spring 2005. ars teaching business and technology, all at Round Lake Middle School (Round Lake, IL). After this school year I plan on retiring in 3 years! I love teaching! It was the best career move I've made. I still play chess, though mostly tournaments via email. I spend most of my non-work time reading, playing golf, chess, and working on the computer. My son graduated from the University of Southern California in architecture and lives in Los Angeles. My wife is a collections rep. Once both of us retire, we plan on moving to the Phoenix area.
