Mark's Story
I'm living in Connecticut with my wife, Diane, and two children, Jacob 12 and Jaden 5 (I posted their picture on my profile). We moved here in 1998 from California where I moved in 1983. I've been working in the semiconductor industry for close to 25 years. It's not glamorous, but I've made a good career out of it.
Diane and I were married in 1991 after dating and living in sin for several years. I was always slow to the draw with the ladies :-(, so it took me awhile to figure out that I had to actually marry her if I wanted to keep her. My oldest son Jacob was born in California in 1996 and Jaden arrived in Connecticut in 2002. They are my pride and joy.
Tom Baud and his family live a few miles away from us, and Pat Klein and his family (new baby!) are about an hour away down in New York. It's hard to believe after all these years that my two best friends since my Park School days are both just...Expand for more
around the corner.
For those of you who know my family, my mother and two brothers, Doug and Steve, all live in North Carolina. Doug is married and has two kids both in high school, while Steve is twice divorced (takes after our parents I guess) and has two daughters, both adults. Sadly, for those of my friends who don't know, my dad (Kerry) was tragically killed in front of his house last August when a truck left the road and struck him down. He was that special kind of dad that every kid who knew him loved growing up because he was always doing fun things with us, he made us laugh, and he let us be ourselves. It's a huge void for me and my brothers, but I think Doug got it right when he said that "Heaven needed a funny man!"
