Life
Hi everyone! I see a few names I remember. Here's a quick hi to all that remember me - hope everyone's living well and happy.
So what have I been doing? Here's the Coles Notes version...
After St. Aidan went to Brebeuf. High School was OK but university was great. Studied business at York U - undergrad and later grad. Career-wise considered and tried accounting (and, not to slight anyone who does that as their thing but ...uuhh,no). Eventually landed in business/IT (I know, to many that's not too many notches above accounting on the interest scale - but it held my attention). Worked a few years with...Expand for more
a consulting company - now famous for it's ethical misteps, Arthur Andersen, and then moved to Washington state to work for a little-known software company - Microsoft. Left Seattle and MS to return to T.O. in 2001 - homesick - but a year later realized that I lost my taste for Toronto winters and missed the rain so I came back to Seattle and MS in 2002 and here I am.
Status-wise: bachelor - no-wife or kids so far. But not so much by doctrine than by happenstance. So we'll see what's on deck
Done a fair bit of traveling Europe, Asia, Australia, S America for biz and pleasure.
All in all, so far so good.
