Mark's Story
Life
Wow, how do you write about your life? I was born in Japan- to start with- my parents were missionaries. After they split up, my mother brought me to the U.S.- Los Angeles to be specific. I grew up there until my mom remarried. At that point we all picked up and moved to Seattle, Washington, argueably the biggest change in my life, as that (in part) determined what I would be doing with the rest of my life! ad time...but within 6 months I was loving the change from dirty, smoggy L.A. to a much more pristine (then) Seattle. In high school I discovered soccer, and that took me to college, where I played on a State Championship team (Skagit Valley College- 1977), and then a National Championship Team (Seattle Pacific U.-Div.2 NCAA- 1978). I met my wife to be at SPU and we have been married 20 years now! We have a great daughter and feel blessed by God in the life we live.
