Life

I spent 2yrs there. 4 1/2m at Camp Yong Son and 1 1/2yrs at Camp Humphreys. After 2yrs in Korea, I had enough of the orient, and wanted to get back to the states. I was stationed at Ft Carson, CO for my last duty assignment, and met my wife while stationed there. After a 4yr tour, I got out of the military, and got married. I am now divorced after 14yrs of marriage. I have a 6 yo boy,and in September we were given another blessing in the guise of a baby boy. Like his brother, he decided he wanted to come a little early. Matthew, much like his brother Patrick, came was 7 weeks early.Matthew is now 4y.o. He has pulled through great. I worked for a short time at the Dept. of Energy as a Federal Protective Officer at the Germantown, Md headquarters facility. This experience gave me my motivation to start a career in the field of law enforcemen...Expand for more
t. After leaving D.O.E., I figured I would put all that money the government gave me to good use, and I attended college in Colorado at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. I received a B.A. in Sociology with an emphasis in criminal justice, and a minor in psychology. I graduated in Dec1994. I then attended a police academy in Glenwoodsprings, CO. After graduation from the police academy I received my first position as a police officer in the small mountain town of Fairplay. I was there for 2yrs. I worked as a patrol deputy for the Costilla County Sheriff's Office in Colorado for approximately 1yr and 3months. I am currently working for the Alamosa County Sheriff's Office in Colorado. My current position is that of a Deputy. I am currently one of 10 certified divers on the San Luis Valley dive recovery team.
