Mark's Story
It has been an interesting ride so far. After graduation, I went to Western Maryland (now McDaniel) College. Worked a couple of jobs before going to work as a civilian for the US Navy, where I spent a 30 year career. After retiring from a senior position, I started my own leadership and executive coaching firm. I'm always looking to expand the coaching business, so if you know anyone who is interested, get in touch. All fun stuff and lots of great adventures.
I also continued sports coaching while working and raising a family. I've coached football, baseball, soccer and women's field hockey....Expand for more
The highlight was taking my daughters to national level field hockey tournaments. In 2000 when I was on the football staff at Calvert High School and we won the 3A Maryland state football championship.
I continued to date classmate Debbie Grant through college and married her in 1980. We have four kids, two of whom were killed in an auto accident in 1998. Debbie passed away unexpectedly in 2006. My two daughters are both married and I have one granddaughter.
Life is good and I'm curious about the next part of the journey. It's been a roller coaster ride; fortunately I love roller coasters.
