Mark's Story
Life
After leaving Campbell County in 1984, I moved to Powell and went to Pellissippi State C.C. for two years studying computer design. During this time I met and married my wonderful wife Regina and moved to Knoxville where we stayed until 1995. During this time I transferred my credit hours to the University of Tennessee and attended for two years majoring in business. a boy and a girl. After Sarah was born and the death of my parents in 1994 and 1995 we moved back to Powell and stayed until 2003. A job opportunity opened up in a small town near Hilton Head, South Carolina and I took it. We now live just across the state line in Georgia near Savannah and are doing great. I am a Truss Design Coordinator for the largest truss company in the Southeast. At times it is very challenging but as all of my friends know, drawing and design has been my life and dream.
