Mark's Story

After a manager career with the grocery business, I took up computer programming with another business within the industry. Then in 1983, I became a Police Officer for the City of Raytown. I was a member of the KC Metro Squad, an Arson and Fire Investigator as well as a Detective and Accident Investigation Specialist until Jan, 2001 My career ending on a sunny Saturday morning in July , 1999, after a car chase and foot pursuit down I-435 of a suspect wanted for Armed Robbery, Car Jacking and Homicide. I still lost about 25% use of my left shoulder. I have also pursued my career as a bowler. I have been part of several championship teams and have received many awards including being inducted into the Gr. KCMO USBC Hall of Fame in 2006. Bowling on the PBA Midwest Regional tour has given me the opportunity to meet several superstars such as Dick Weber, Earl Anthony, PDW, Jeff Carter and many others. I was also honor on becoming a member of the "Storm Bowling Products" staff. They have treated me really well and its a wonderful company to be a part of. Currently married to my wife , Cindy for nearly 20 years and we have one daughter who will enter college this year.
