Mark's Story

This is a time warp message so expect it to be weird. Friends just do not stack up on my list. Very few were supportive. I do not keep in touch with many. People just went their own ways. Life is not a neat story where we tell it like a movie script. Its actually more interesting to hear about peoples take on their experience if they can let it go. During my work years, I could not remember a name to well if it went back to my school years. Now that I am retired and free of it, I remember more details. Life is no fairy tale. Some people still think they live in one or try to live in one or wish they had one. . All that stuff is BS we get feed as kids. The best laid plans and dreams go to waste sometimes. We have been products of a capitalistic society using us. Most people are brainwashed to eat, dress, talk, behave and believe the way our super machine dictates. To believe in what our parents family believed. To live in the same way. All that is BS. School always taught to conform to rules, think how they wanted. I am also thankful I am an independent person as a result. I pity those I see around me so dependent by the system. Those with false beliefs because they just did what they were told never searching out truth with an open mind. I pity those who preach the old BS our previous generation did. Some people have no doubt changed and some may be dangerously screwed up. So what is to say. To see what people have become or not become as a person. I am sure there are no HS friends that I will have much in common with for memory sake except the party group and the track team. My best school years were at the Jr High years. I missed the singing among friends, dancing in the basements and youth center and schools or churches, kissing the girls, smoking, and sports. pick up games. People with high educations are the weird ones usually stressed out and mentally twisted. Once upon a time, our country had different views...Expand for more
. Living through the JFK years. I felt a great emptiness like something was taken. That is the evil, selfish, hatred of the military generals to the President who killed him. . Johnson was just an idiot doing what the old guard told him to do and their pawn, getting us into Vietnam. Kennedy was not going to war. Those generals of the WWII era that used our young people to continue making our military experienced to defend against world threats. They thought they were Gods. War to have peace is such a backwards philosophy. Generals/ Politicians = not to be trusted. I was in the military 28 years. I have been around the government 30 years and seen mostly nice people reject or get mentally abused by the demands from higher up messing up common sense issues. I refused promotion because I saw a mess I could do nothing about. I was too independent. I did my job and went home avoiding the greedy, fat, headed squares barking abusive orders up and down their chain of command to justify their jobs. People who just had their papers in order and boxes checked being promoted to their level of inadequacy and kept there to make a mess. Equal opportunity farce and inner government abuse of its own rules. Churches are responsible for more brainwashed bull, but its our choice to go or not to go. I found spirituality in the world not needing a church so that I could have an open mind and learn the facts not fantasy after having both the education of church and school. Just as their is good in the church, there is good in people. Some people really need a church. I am happier knowing they are brainwashed than living with their non respect of others. It was a world of the strong survived and the weak were eaten or got the crap beaten out of them when I grew up. I give credit to teachers who cared not who just got a lesson out of the way. having 2 kids, I can say education is necessary and we have come a long way. Change is very slow.

There was once a fierce young warrior with many spirits. As one gets older those spirits start looking scary. The spirts change.

My love is deep, my loss is even harder. Bjorg cried as though it were a contest this past year. I would do it again and again for the happiness i saw in her face. We cherished the gift of each others company. We stopped
