Marla's Story
Life
I have obtained a Masters Degree in Community Organization & Social Administration at WVU. My undergrad degree is in Social Work with a minor in Sociology. Up until six months ago, I was Social Worker/Manager/Supervisor for a residential boys home called Gift of Hope. I loved it, but there was no room for growth, so I am currently working as a lead therapist for Roanoke League of Therapists training for my LCSW. e lives of children. My husband "Joey" and I were blessed with a son named Aiden in 2006 (my first and last child...despite rumors. lol!). As for keeping busy outside of work, we are currently undertaking several home renovation projects. We have enjoyed the slow but progressive transformations to our home. Overtime, I have developed a passion for travel and stay on the road or in planes alot. We just returned from our delayed Honeymoon in Italy and are already starting on our next venture to Alaska's Kenai Peninsula!
