Life~
I married Rick Paver in 1983. We have three wonderful children. Jacob in 1986, Brianna in 1991 & Brittany in 1998. We lived in Villa Park, IL 1983-86 & Warrenville, IL '86-'94. In Nov. '94 God led us to the beautiful town of Grand Haven, MI. Jacob plays the trumpet. He graduated from high school in May 2004. He attended Grand Valley State University for his freshmen year. He graduated in May 2007 from Universal Technical Institute (an automotive technical training school) in Illinois. Jacob proposed to Amanda Kowitz on New Year's Day 2008. They were married on August 9, 2008. My first grandchildren, Aaron & Anna were born on August 5, 2010. Brianna graduated high school in May 2009. She iattended Muskegon Community College. She has been playing the flute for 6 years. She is an outstanding and beautiful young woman who loves the Lord. She was on the swim team for 4 years. She is an excellent student earning straight A's. She is on the National Honor Society. She also has a passion for gymnastics, animals, and crafts. Brianna is currently working as a nanny. Brittany is our lively one! She never seems to run out of energy. She has run two 5K's, and out of more than 700 girls, she came in 13th, and 20th. She loves to run. She is a beautiful, smart, silly and happy girl. hat is overwhelming!! She is going into 8th grade. She has a passion for drawing, gymnastics, singing and entertaining. She has been in gymnastics for about 5-6 years now, and she has won many awards and several trophies. She is learning to play the flute. This is her second year. My husband, Rick, is a bricklayer, and has a construction company based in Grand Rapids, MI. I enjoy baking, sewing, walking, swimming, crafts and boating. I had major surgery in Feb 2002 (to remove my thyroid), when the doctors thought I had cancer of the thyroid (after 2 biopsies). After the surgery, final reports showed, no cancer, but I had a thryoid disease that was rather advanced. I had to have the thyroid removed. But Thank goodness I didn't have cancer!
My 18 yr. old niece, Amanda Grover, was tragically killed in a car accident in Feb 1999. My step-father passed away in Jan 2001. My mother lives in Sun City, Arizona. My father passed away in Feb. 2003. My sisters are Teri (Teresa) & Laura Nicosia, and Pamela & Sandra Groeneveld. Teri lives in Elmhurst, IL. and is married to Joe Sgotta. She has a son, Tom Grover, and a daughter Amanda Grover (deceased). Tom married Lisa Zell in May 2005. Laura is married to Ed Vince and lives in Darien, IL. She has no children. Pamela is married to Brad Paulsen and lives in Wheaton, IL. She has two daughters, Karissa Lorelle, born in June 2001, and Juliana Lynda born in June 2005. Sandra lives in Frisco, TX and is married to Mark Tackman. She had her first child, Hailie Danelle, in Oct 2000. Her second child, Cameron Jensen, was born in January 2003. I also have a dog, Bailey. We also have a large saltwater fish-tank, which is my husband Rick's hobby.
