M's Story
Who am I really?.....hmmmm....hopefully mostly normal (Whatever that is these days). Never did drugs, enjoy a glass of wine now and then, still hooked on cigarrettes, looking forward to retirement one day. I have a pretty good sense of humor and try to see the glass half full. Meditative and believe in a higher power that guides us as we go. Do unto others and try walking a mile in their shoes without forming judgements that are destructive. I love my kids, grandchildren and my new great grandson. Love my dog too - she's great company. Hope some day to be back living on the Island!
I grew up with four other siblings, an older brother, me, sister, ...Expand for more
brother and then another sister. We played at Rudd Park, swam at the Gorge and on weekends the family would go to Beaver Lake - loved it there till I walked through a Hornet's nest - not pretty. The Smith twins lived up the street and Edith was my best friend during those elementary years. Also Diane Pluff (anyone know here whereabouts?)
I had a crush on 'Bones' (don't remember his name - George - maybe) in grade four or five. Still think of him from time to time. Went to S.J. Willis (Ms. McNabb was my teacher - not a nice person) and shared my locker with Linda ? for first year of grade 7 and then family moved to Campbell River. Whole new chapter!
