Marne's Story
There's not much to say - I live a nice little life in Zimmerman MN with my husband and two boys. I stay in touch with a few friends from High School - the ones I was closest with while I was there. Brandon's a teacher in the Anoka school district. We like living in the "toolies" where you can see the stars at night and not hear traffic when your windows are open. My boys are pretty active so when I'm not working full-time in Minneapolis, I'm chauffering them all over the place. The only other female in my house is my trusty dog, Natalie. ...Expand for more
She's a springer that gets to hunt two weekends a year, the rest of the time she keeps my feet warm at night and plays with the kids.
If there is one thing I would change about my life, it would have been to stay in college. I went to St Thomas, but was too wrapped up in my personal life (which seemed so important at the time) that I let all of that opportunity go to waste. I wish I would have stayed and pursued what I wanted to do. I would love to go back to school for nursing - maybe some day when there's more time to study I'll go back!
