Marselle's Story
I was born Marselle Anise Kirkpatrick in Cleveland,
Ohio on September 17, 1950. I started school at Parkwood Elementary School on September 1955. I attended there from 1955 to June of 1962. I graduated and attended Harry E. Davis from 1962- June 1965. Then I attended Jane Addams Vocational School for a short period then Glenville High School briefly and finally, John Hay High School. Because of some serious personal problems, I dropped out of school but John Hay is very special to me because some of the classmates that I started with in elementary school continued with me through junior high school and high school and I love and miss them as if they were my family. I met and married a gentleman named Jerry Cook . We moved here to Indianapolis, Indiana on May 18, 1969 and our oldest child at the time was just seven months old. en ages ranging from 39 years old to 31 years old. We are the grandparents of 14 with one of the way in October . Mostly, I guess that I can be classified as a Caregiver because I've been taking care of loved ones since I was six years old. I've worked at several temporary agencies both here and in Cincinnati , Ohio basically taking care of elderly people. Presently, my mother lives with us and she is 83 years old. Her sister lives around the corner from us and she is 79 years old. Needless to say, they are some tough sisters to deal with( SMILES) but I have enjoyed every minute of it and learned alot about life dealing with them. This will be our last year living in Indiana, we will be buying a home in Cincinnati hopefully by the end of this year. Afterwards, if the Lord allows it and my health holds up, I plan to 0attend Law classes at University of Cincinnati.
