Marshall's Story
After a few years college in Illinois I moved back to Flint got married and worked at Chevrolet Metal Fab. Finish Criminal Justice at Mott and went to MSU. Left Metal Fab and went to work at JCPenney in Security and also went to work for Genesee Twp Police. Graduated Police academy and did both jobs for several years. Got divorced from first wife after 7 years. Moved up with JCPenney and left the Police Dept. and soon after relocated to Eastern Pennsylvania - Allentown near Philadelphia. After 20 years with JCP I went to CompUSA as a Regional LP Director and 5 years later jumped to Walmart in Asset Protection. This position requires considerably less Air Travel and hotels and I am home most every night. I've now been married to Christine for 21 years. We have Carly 10 and Lance 8. m (my first wife) was killed last year in an auto accident. Chad is an Iraq veteran, speaks fluent arabic, recently graduated George Mason and is a GS 12 with the Dept. of Defense. He also plays a mean guitar. Music is our thing and we occasionally get a chance to gig out, as you will see in my photos. We live by the Blue Mountain and are about a mile from the Appalachian Trail. We are involved in church activities and the Lord has blessed us in many ways. I play bass in the Praise Band at New Life Evangelical Church, and while I'm not really a bass player, I enjoy it a lot. We live in a small community and there have been times when we rock a local pub on a Saturday night and then I play with the Praise Band on Sunday morning and many of the faces I"m looking at are the same at both gigs. People aren't wrapped too tight around here.
