Marta's Story
Retired as an IT portfolio manager from Federal government in 2014; worked on renovating a historic waterfront property in Fell’s Point Baltimore, MD, where I opened a small used bookstore “Pyewacket Books of Fell’s Point.” Moved with “my Captain,” a commercial crabber, to the Eastern Shore of Maryland in 2019, and reopened my bookstore, Selkie Books of Rock Hall, Kent County, in 2020. 38 local artists store-commission free. I have a wonderful 7 y/o Grandson Will and darling mini-me granddaughter Olive Elizabeth, who just turned 5!! Older son, DIL, grandchildren, and younger son all now live in Casper, Wyoming. It’s wonderful they are together even tho so far away. Brothers Lee and Jim live in Phoenix! The Captain and I travel out West periodically to see my beloved ones. Please dear alums come see me if ever you are nearby - Annapolis, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC all are relatively close!
