Martha's Story
Life
4/10/06 Briefly, my husband, John, and I live in New Bern, NC with our son, Sean. Moved back from Chapel Hill, NC ten years ago. We currently own a business together, Marina Sweets Cafe' & Deli. New Bern was featured in Southern Living Magazine in June '05 and they talked about our little cafe'! In May '06 we will have owned it for 5 years. A restaurant is a learning experience. Even a small one takes over your life seven days a week. We are very proud of our little, unique business.
Last year I decided to add more to my life and I went back to school to get my Real Estate Broker's license. Now I work with Keller Williams Realty and love it! Wish I had done it earlier. New Bern is booming.

ll is his favorite. He is convinced with a million other kids that he is going to play for Roy at UNC Chapel Hill. Keep your grades up! Not sure how tall he is going to be. I wouldn't count him out. He has great believing! In addition to sports, he is extremely loving and cares deeply for other's feelings. Although he makes all A's, I'm afraid he is like his mother and would rather be playing outdoors than sitting in class.(Wow, this is fun bragging when nobody can tell me to hush!)
In my previous life, 1980-1991, I was married to another and we raised two boys, Travis and Kurt. Now I am a grandmother or two beautiful boys. Will turns 5 next week and Preston is almost 2. Definitely need to slow down to make more trips to Raleigh to be Grandma.
