My Spouse
Met him in SC while vacationing with my mother.
My Pets
Well to update, my beautiful gray and white cat is no longer with us. She was 16 years old and we had to put her to sleep. She was a wonderful friend and I miss her greatly. Now we have a huge orange and white, no tail, Manx cat, who thinks he is the boss of the house, and usually is. His name is Muff.
My Kids
My daughter, Amy Lynn Turner Duckworth, is 23 years old and has graduted from CCC&TI with an assoc. in Fine Arts. She is very talented, but doesn't know yet exactly what she is going to use it for. Also, she is married now and lives in Taylorsville on the lake.
UPDATE: Well now my daughter is a CNA1 and is working for Hospice and Home Health of Alexander County. Finally something secure!!!! I am so proud of her for hanging in there...Expand for more
and doing her best at what she thinks she needs to do. Now, it is time for Josh's education.....
UPDATE: Well with a sad note I have to update and let everyone know that my wonderful husband of 35 years passed away on July 26, 2009. He was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer called light chain disease which forms in the bone marrow and attaches pockets of protein in any organ of the body. Only having one transplanted kidney and the cancer attaching to that kidney caused it to fail and since it was time for him to go be with his Lord and Savior the kidney shut down. We had prayed that he would not suffer and he did not. I miss him terribly and still listen for his call everyday, but he is no longer in a body that was disabled, but a completely healed and whole body. He was the love of my life and I thank God for him.
