martha's Story
Sometmes people just don't go too far from where they started. I married Fred Plemons,class of 1960, we bought our home in 1965 and I still live there(right next door to where Fred was raised). Yes, we lived next door to his parents! We have 4 wonderful children,3 boys,1 girl. We have 5 Grandsons(1 in heaven). Fred was killed in an accident in Oct 2007. I have done automotive research part time for the past 25 years. Mary Lincoln and I just returned from a very wonderful trip to the east coast(Mass) where we enjoyed some sightseeing and experienced some of our very wonderful U.S. history. Mary is related not only to Abraham Lincoln but more closely to Paul Revere. Oh how I wish I had paid more attention in history. d, Paula Ewing, Pat Calvert(we play bunco) along with Barbara Ewing& Jennie Kobzeff Mary and I visited with Dixie Aitkins and Barbara Hooley(we talked to her tonight!) last summer. OUR 50th CLASS REUNION IS COMING UP IN 2012 so if anyone would like to help with the planning PLEASE let me know. We need all the help we can get. Gordon Whisenhunt and I are also very good friends. We have kept in touch over the years and for the past few years he has been coming to CA to enter his 32 CHEV in the carshow at the Flashback to the 50's and he has won a trophy each time..He lives in Memphis. I am so blessed to still live in Glendora. Oh how I love this town. By the way Doug Tessitor is currently mayor. He is married to the very lovely Cindy Colley and they have 3 beautiful daughters.
