Martin's Story
Life
I attended St. Joseph Grammar School (Pensacola, FL) from the first to the eighth. When I graduated from St. Joseph's High School. I attended Florida A. & M. University where I received a B.S. in History. I started teaching in Escambia County School System at Warrington Middle School. While working at Warrington, I attended The University of West Florida where I received a M.A.T. in History.

I left Warrington Middle School and went to Brown-Barge Middle School, a magnet school. This year(2001-2002) school year, will be my last year teaching. I will be retiring after 33 years in Education.
I am still active at St. Joseph. I serve on the Parish Council, Church Historian, Founder of The Krewe of African Kings (Parish Mardi Gras Organization), A member of the Knights of Peter Claver and the Knights of Columbus, and I also work on other committees in the parish. I am also a member of Omega Psi Phi.
