Martin's Story
Life
I Joined the Air Force shortly after graduation, even though I didn't graduate. I was married during Christmas break of my senior year to my wife of almost 30 years. Yes, it has been that long and great. Even though I did not complete High School at that time I have gone on to complete a Bachelors Degree in Social Psycology and a Masters degree in counseling. I completed 20 years in the military and am currently employed in by the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor.
Cathy and I have 3 children, Brad our oldest is married and has two little girls and he works at Home Depot in Tuscon AZ. Brian the middle son is a Tucson AZ police officer and he is married and they are about to ...Expand for more
have their second child. Our Daughter Charity is married and a stay at home mom with her two daughters, she completed her MCSE professional program prior to staying at home.
I enjoy my job as a counselor and we are currently living in Albuquerque, NM.
I look back on what I and my family have accomplished and really don't think I would change much about if I could do it all again. I enjoyed the time I had at Tallulah, Academy. IF any of my teachers read this, you all provided one of the best foundations for success that could be hoped for. With the education that I recieved there I was able to clep 27 semester hours in college level courses. You people were and still are truly remarkable. Thank you!
