Marty's Story
After graduating h.s. I went on to Kent State to major in Mathematics. I took the scenic route through the College of Education and by 1997 I finally graduated with a B.S. in Secondary Ed. Math. In the fall of 1998 Akron Public Schools hired me to be a full time mathematics instructor at Buchtel H.S. and that's where I've been ever since. It's a pretty crazy scene up there and not just because I'm there. Fights...Expand for more
breaking out right and left, three Akron P.D. on duty every day... and that's just the staff meetings. Of course since I was class clown and all I've been writing jokes and corny raps off and on for 10+ years. I just came out with a book called "Almost Joke Book" and it's available on amazon.com, among other places. I currently live in Canton with my wife, Melissa and our son Joshua who is 3.
