Marty's Story
I attended Blue Ridge University (Blue Ridge Community College back then) and joined the Army in 1972. My dad died in 1967, so I was pretty much a loner (invisible) during my Junior and Senior year at Lee HS. I retired from the US Army in 1993 as a Chief Warrant Officer and immediately went to work for the State of Wisconsin Department of Justice, where I am currently employed as a senior forensic analyst....Expand for more
The recent news that the High's Ice Cream murders had been solved (after all those years!) rekindled my interest in Staunton and former classmates from Robert E. Lee High School.
I became interested in old, classic, antique, collectible American muscle cars many years ago. I restored a show winning 1965 Mustang Fastback (3 year project), and am currently working on a 1962 Chevy Impala SS convertible.
