Marx's Story
Life
I've been playing music in and around Tucson for...whoa....35 years. As you might remember, I play drums. After a triple bypass in 1999, I got back to it and joined the local touring group, The Mollys, in 2000. We toured extensively through the U.S., Canada and then we did two tours of northern Italy. I loved it. The band broke up and I'm doing a lot of freelancing as well as being in three bands currently: Tony & The Torpedoes (blues)the Carnivaleros (sort of a weird-but-cool "roots" band)and a 9 piece (!!!) horn band--The Coolers. I've also worked a lot of retail jobs, wrote advertising, an...Expand for more
d worked as a phone tech for AOL (thus the heart operation.)
I've never married, but I'm still looking. My only regret is that I have no children. I'm living in Tucson and I still love it here.
Although I've never attended any of the reunions I have great memories of Catalina and a lot of my classmates. I know a lot of people who couldn't stand high school. I dug it. That being said, I'm glad I'm not in high school now--it's a tough time for everyone, especially kids.
I realized it's kind of tough to try to write a bio in 4000 characters. Get in touch and I can fill in a lot of the blank areas.
