Life
My Kids
The best thing about my boys is that one of them gave me two wonderful grandsons. The worst thing is that my youngest son has terminal cancer. He has brain cancer diagnosed in May 2004. We struggle daily with his deficits, but consider each day a gift from God. He has had 3 surgeries and multiple chemos and the tumor keeps coming back. It is a GBM and 100% fatal normally found in elderly people. Pray for Eric! He is such a sweet kid and deserves so much better.
UPDATE: My sweet son died on April 4, 2006 just 2 days after his 31st birthday. He was helpless and confused, refused food for 10 days, lapsed into a coma, developed pnuemonia and passed away in the early morning. My heart is broken as is everyon...Expand for more

My Job
Since Eric's death I have been semi-retired, telecommuting to my former company in St. Louis as an accountant.
My hub Bob & I have moved to The Villages FL and enjoy golf, swimming, dancing under the stars here. I am learning to play guitar, read a lot and basically enjoy life. We have since left the Villages and moved to Apollo Beach FL where I can be closer to the beautiful Florida beaches. We are active, working out everyday inspite of our advanced age and relative body shapes. This is the Florida lifestyle I envisioned when we moved, a pool in the backyard for evening swims, beaches, fresh fish and sunshine. We love it here. My hands and feet will never be cold again!
