Life Greetings! Out of high school I became a professional musician/vocalist. That went on full-time for about 8 years, worked hard and I had the time of my life. The 80s were weird, though, being in show biz, so I decided to opt out, at least for the time being. Moved to Cleveland in 1984, started working in bands here in 1985. That went on part time for around 10 years. Meanwhile, vocationally, went back to my roots in the graphic arts industry, got a job at a printer. I worked at Matrix Essentials (prof. hair care products) in their in-house creative department for 13 years. After a couple of buy-outs, L'Oreal purchased Matrix in 2000, the company went to NYC. I turned down a position there but contracted for them for a good portion of 2001. Totally enjoyed the fashion industry in NYC...what a blast. Have made excellent professional alliances and true friends from Matrix. Through the 90s I kept singing and playing rock and soul, started singing classic jazz in 1995. Really a wonderful experience, all of it. Got to meet some incredible people and played with some fantastic musicians and have had excellent audiences over the years.
