Mary's Story
I married my JR. High sweetheart Mike Rounds we'll be married 34 yrs this Oct we have 2 beautiful children a girl who is a young woman who just married the man of her life with our 2 Granddaughter (Meadow is 7 & Shia is 5) And we have a young man of 24yrs his name is Michael ( of course) who is single and living the good life. We are a very close family and love each other
Mike & I live out in Independence Mo besides Northeast blood in us we also have Wiliam Chrisman blood running in our veins through our children. I no longer have to work I'm a stay at home mom who has spent the last 5 years watching her Grandbabies grow up what a treat that is so I can mold them to be little Vikings even throught they'll be Indains (FortOsage) it doen't hurt to try
My husband Mike he seen me in my worse of times health wise he helped me go through brain surgery and recover being by my side through sickness and health and never gave up on me and loved me with so much passion. He is my hero and I love him very much!!!
If I won $100 million, I'd give 1/2 of it to church, then spend the rest on Mike, so he can retire and Family.
My current age is a woman never tells. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be retired. I was so completely WRONG!!!
What happened to my first crush I married him!!
I share my home with my husband, which I find exciting we're empty nesters.
My first job was at Langley Optical, where I got paid $2.10 to make glasses. What I remember most about it is the pay sucked!!!!.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my back deck and add on a sunroom. My dream home would be a log cabin house.
They've taught me to love them no matter what they did or say my heart belongs to my Family it's so filled with Love for them.
We lived in Northeast when we first got married for about 5 years until 1 night Mike seen a bunch of kids going up our street shooting a gun so we knew it was time to pack it up and move which we did and never looked back

The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Carla Whitney, because we went to grade school together and were best friends, then she moved away and I could never find her until late Aug and we found each other on Facebook what a joy!!.
My children have tought me
not to jump the gun let them explain what is going on with their lives and just be there for them with open arms my kids are everything to me. I see myself in them and it kinda scared me! the way they handel life with them knowing what they want and go and get it I must admit they're very strong headed young adults and I couldn't ask for better kids really! and yes I've spoiled them why not their my children and yes also Mike's
My best friend would tell you I'm outspoken, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as a freindly person I'm from the Mid-West I talk with everybody just ask my family.
I"ve never met a stranger!! and they've all been great. I spend my Tues.& thursday morning havong breakfast with the little old ladies and men from McDonalds they find me very interesting to say the least I think 1 of these days it will be us. Just spend an extra min. or so tallking to with older people really make their day that some one cares enough to listen to them.

My sister coming home from school leaving me at a bus stop when I was 3 yrs old and telling my Mom that I was catching a bus to go downtown. My sister didn't even bother to bring me home with her boy did she get it!!!! she always said the worst time in her life was when I was born!!!!!! not sure if it was a joke or not.

Is always listen to what they say and guide them the right way. the love for my children just over flows my heart, I wouldn't know what I would of done if they weren't in my life :)
