Mary's Story
I graduated in 1959. Married my HS sweetheart. Have been married for 53 years. Three children, (lost our first daughter, Mary Lisa, when she was 4 years old.) Adopted Kelly Anita in ll/1964 right after birth. Had son Jeffrey Parks in 1967. Have six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Live in Covington, GA. Active in our church, Trinity Presbyterian Church. Daughter is a Legal Support Staff and Son is in administration of School District School Transportation. I lost my dear husband 8/30/16. He had been getting weaker but working so hard with pt and looking forward to coming home Friday of the week he died Tuesday morning. His heart just could not beat enough to pump blood through his body. He had been a miracle many times. Was such a fighter. After 57 years of marriage this is the most difficult thing I have ever had to handle. We were truly blessed with a wonderful marriage. No one could say any thing but sweet things about him. To know him was to love him.
