Mary's Story
Well, let's see....how to sum up 47 years....yikes!
FAMILY: Married high school sweetheart Mike, raised two kids, divorced 25 years later. Kids are nearby; one grandchild. Lived in SoCal, NJ, IL, back to CA, now in Northern California for last 30 years. Parents left Oxnard in mid 80s to move up here; Dad passed in '91; Mom is still going strong at 102 years old. Big party in 2011. She's still enjoying life.
WORK: Started as stenographer with Naval Intelligence at USNCBC-Port Hueneme. Worked as secretary, bookkeeper, proofreader, typesetter and printer assistant. Ended as Editor of The American Bench le...Expand for more
gal directory in Sacramento. Many jobs, industries, businesses in between. Laid off Dec 2008 and semi-retired since June 2011.
MAIN INTEREST: After divorce in 1991, gravitated toward Metaphysics and Spirituality in the New Age. Read everything possible on 2012 and some conspiracy theories. Love Abraham-Hicks and Kryon material; "The Secret"; Deepak Chopra, Louise Hay, Wayne Dyer, Gregg Braden, Bruce Lipton; Law of Attraction; Science of Mind, etc.
ALSO ENJOY: Room repurposing and rearranging furniture; Sudoku, board games, card games, poker, and now learning Mah jongg.
LOVE: Still believe in True Love.
