Life
A bio? Sure, why not? First, I'm Mary Stanley now but haven't figured out yet how to change my name on here. Can't be that hard, but I'll get to it later.
I'm remarried and have two kidlets, ages 16 and almost 12. Have lived in Lincoln since I came down to go to UNL in 1980. Currently work for the City of Lincoln and have since 1997. Even my mom doesn't know exactly what I do, so I won't go into boring detail. Basically, I'm a glorified loan officer giving out 0% interest loans for income-eligible homeowners to improve their property. I say "glorified" because it'...Expand for more
s the government so I can't just pass out money while sitting behind my desk. I go out to the homes and work with the homeowners to make sure they fix anything that is a threat to their health and safety, verify that the work has been done, and then process payments to contractors. It's definitely something new and different every day.
As of this writing, I am just back from vacation in New York. My mother-in-law lives there and we go every year to visit her and do others things in the area.
I'll stop for now and see what else I can do on this site.
