Mary's Story

Many of you probably knew I had two sons before I left Colorado and moved to Virginia. Moving had it's bad points and it's good points - my (former) husband David and I split up, but at least I was able to find work here in Virigina. ungest son, Tim, was in a car accident when he was 14 and lost sight in his right eye. He committed suicide on his 18th birthday because he was unable to join the military. We all still miss him a lot. I'm finally going back to school, and should have my Associate's in 2009. I still make costumes and go to Science Fiction conventions when I can. I also do living history, making most of my clothing. I made the dress I'm wearing in my photo. I write stories and poetry and hope someday to get my act together and get published. I converted to Catholicism in 2002 and I'm pretty happy with my life, all things considered. I hope to hear from some of you, and hear that God has blessed your lives, too.
