Mary's Story
Life
Went to Georgetown College in Kentucky after graduation where I majored in Biology/Environmental Science. I worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service during the summers. Then I went to Purdue University where I earned a Masters in Forestry/Wildlife. I also met my husband, Brad Carson. We moved to Colorado in 1995 and I began working at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge doing environmental education programs. e with me, so I applied and got in to Colorado State University's School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Science. Four days after graduating from vet school in May 2004, we welcomed Amelia Grace--our daughter. When Amelia was 5 months old, we moved to Grants Pass, Oregon where I worked in a mixed animal veterinary practice. But we missed Colorado and moved back in November 2005. I am now working for Banfield, The Pet Hospital of Broomfield and enjoying my work and family life.
