Mary's Story

Life Married in 73. Have two children and two grandchildren. Decided that being a housewife wasn't what I wanted to do after all and went back to college and I now hold three college degrees. I stopped after I got my Masters because distance was too great for daily travel to continue. I taught 8th Grade American History for 15 years in Alma, AR then I was a Media Specialist at Paris Middle School in Paris, AR and now I am at my dream job as a High School Media Specialist in Mansfield, AR. My husband and I love to travel and cruising is our favorite type of vacation though we take a lot of mini vacations on motorcycles with our son and friends and our daughter and her famly when they are living in the US. ich always includes scuba diving. I do web pages for a fun sideline and spend hours learning how to do new things on the web for my pages. I am hoping to get my pilots liscense someday but many say I am flying everytime I get behind the wheel. Since I wrote that life has changed and I love it. March 2012 "I almost became an angel" when I totaled me and my motorcycle. I am now retired and on disability but still have the most blessed life anyone could ask for. Last week I celebrated my 42 anniversary with my best friend and husband. Once again life has changed. This time not for the better. Our son passed away April 11, 2020 and life is no longer bright and hopeful. Our daughter stopped all communication with us in 2010. So now we are childless and the future looks bleak

Be careful what you hope for. I really wanted my boot to come off at my dr appointment today. It did. But new foot adornment for 4 weeks
Today I got my second new cast of the week. Tuesday Dr Young couldn’t do it because I didn’t have a driver so they scheduled me an appointment in the cast room for that afternoon. The tec who did it wasn’t happy I was there
