Mary's Story
Life
Hmmm, difficult in 25 words or less. I am now divorced, after a long marriage, I have 3 sons, who are 29,23 and 19. Doesn't that make me feel old!! My oldest son is a Cordon Bleu Chef in Los Angeles, CA, my second son is getting ready to apply to college, meanwhile he works at 3 jobs and my youngest is a sci-fi fan/ freshman in college and looking to study film production. I'm healthy and busy, working two jobs consumes my time. I do a lot of hiking and outdoor stuff and am presently training to race in a sprint triathlon. I'm a Nurse-Midwif...Expand for more
e and have delivered around 1000 babies, but I don't count them anymore.
College
After finishing my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing,(I took the long route, that's another story) I attended Boston University and became a Certified Nurse-Midwife with a Master's in Public Health degree.
Workplace
I was an Obstetrical nurse at Portsmouth Hospital for 10 years, then returned to school and now I've been a Nurse-Midwife since 1995. I worked at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD, then at University of Maryland for 7 years. I've returned to work and stay in NH.
