Mary's Story

Life This year (2007) I'll be celebrating my 10th anniversary with my husband Puck. We have a Great Dane named Shakti (almost 8 years old). Currently, we live in Davis, California (near Sacramento), and I am working on my doctorate in Spanish early modern literature. d Spain. We have a website (though it is woefully in need of an update) called the Destreza Translation and Research Project. Other interests: watching movies, reading, enjoying time with Puck, Shakti and friends as well trips to see my 9 nieces and 1 nephew (all under 6). Overall, just happy to be learning new things and sharing my life journey with a wonderful guy.
