Mary's Story

Life I waited a long time to get a college education. My husband, Mel, and I both graduated with Bachelors Degrees in Computer Information Systems with class of 2000. I am sure my old high school teachers would be surprised to find out I graduated Magna Cum Laude. I am childless by choice but choose to befriend every child in the neighborhood. mother thanks to my stepson, Buddy. He and my daughter-in-law Trish have presented us with two grandsons, Mason and Milo. They live in Massachusetts so we don't see them very often. I am a cancer survivor and have a listening ear (e-mail address) for anyone who is, or has been in a similar place. i now live in Waxahachie, TX. I love keeping in touch with classmates.

We spent some time in the lobby oft he lodge in front of this lovely fire. The Elk was taken in 1902. I hope the meat fed his family for a long time.

My grandson, Milo, graduated from preschool. Thank you Buddy for the wonderful videos of both the boys in the last day of school activities. My heart is full!!!!

Every night at about sundown the sun turns the poplar trees golden. It even happens on cloudy days. The sun finds a break in the clouds and bids us a golden goodnight.
