I am originally from Dormont, PA, but our family moved to Butler when I was 10, so I attended elementary school in Pittsburgh (Kelton), and elementary (Lyndora) and junior high in Butler. We then moved to Saxonburg, where I graduated from Mars Area High School. I was in Brownies and Girl Scouts (as a Junior and Senior, but not Cadette), and my mom was an assistant Junior troop leader. I received my Bachelor of Music in Education from Arizona State University, and my MBA in Human Resource Management from Columbia Southern University in Orange Beach, AL. I'm working on my Ed,.D., and have about half the classes completed, but have put it on pause until I am ready to resume the heavy reading and writing. Greek? Yep! Kappa Kappa Psi, Sigma Alpha Iota, and Delta Epsilon Tau. Now happily divorced, I was married for 12 years but had no kids. Career-wise, I have been a business consultant/analyst for retail, specifically food/drug/mass/convenient stores, implementing software lifecycle systems/business process re-engineering projects. I moved on to incorporate that with my degree work, and became an education consultant on other types of projects, including some with state agencies.
