Mary's Story
Life
This year has been a big year for the Heath family. We moved back to North Carolina in March 2007. My husband Mike got a great job in Jacksonville (where we met 21 years ago) and I am staying at home for now. Drew our 17 year old son is a senior at the local high school here and Lawrence, our 19 year old moved down here in May right after he finished his freshman year in college. He is in his sophomore year in college here and is working part time at Camp Lejeune. Anthony our 23 year old son is staying in Virginia as he has a great job there. Wakebo...Expand for more
arding season was good for Drew this year. He placed in about 75% of the tournaments he was in. Lawrence placed in only one but he was still recovering from shoulder surgery. I got a job working for a local non profit as its database manager and event coordinator.
In August 2007, my father passed away from a lung disease called pulmonary fibrosis. I was blessed to have such a great man for my father. I know he is with the Lord and in no pain. My mother and sister are still in Charlotte and they are doing extremely well.
