Alice's Story
I've been married for 26 years to my husband Ken,it is a second marriage.We have 3 children and two grandchildren.
I am a christian and have been for 21 years.
I have worked for 17 years as a critical care tech in ICU in two major hospitals and am currently, for the past 7 years, am a teacher's assistant,teaching special needs children in 6th grade.
I am an avid reader,crafter and love children and the elderly and my church family everywhere,and huge family gatherings were its just the love of family without booze sending people into soppy sentimentality.
I like camping and fishing and long drives and old classics and musicals.I collect tea pots, old bottles,old magazines from the 30's and 40's,not to forget Country Living magazines from the 80's era.I live in a small farmhouse that my husband and I are renovating and prefer living in the country as opposed to yown or city living.I like to travel if I have the time,hate flying prefering to keep my feet on the ground.

I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a reachable idea. As it turns out, they were almost right.
In order to Quote' blow off steam....it depends on the season.If it is fall spring or summer I go and sit by the lake with a good book and let God's handiwork soothe me.Or I cry and I talk to HIM.I stay there sometimes for hours until the quiet peace I seek floods my soul.If it is winter I don't do so well.I am not fond of the cold and invigorating walks are not my thing.A hot cup of tea,a good book, a warm blanket ,a quiet place.This is my soother in the winter.
The story wizard just asked me what was the wildest thing I ever did in school.I have to smile at that.I wasn;t exactly known for wildness in school.I was really mousy,shy and quiet.I was ........unfinished, only beginning to try and find my way to becomming who I am today.
