Ayres's Story
Life
Divorced from Peter Arguedas in 1978. Married to Bill Cobb since 1982. After 20 year career in legal services, joined him to form Cobb & Gardner, LLP, a civil litigation practice, in 2000. Retired 5/31/10 as a Judge of the Magistrate Court of DeKalb County, Georgia after 13 years of part-time service. Briefly a statewide Senior Magistrate, whiled returned to actively practicing in the firm again. (Retired from Senior status to get my 1st Amendment rights back.) . Tech, in computer science and playing a ferocious guitar on the side, is now a candidate for a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Ga. Tech. Mary Elizabeth, 26 on 4/9/12,, graduated in '04 from the Paideia School, attended Loyola New Orleans as a drama & communications major both pre- and post-Katrina, but came back to Atlanta to push her career as an actor. Most recently co-hosted TWC's Guaranteed White Christmas, seen by 45 million people! She left in May 2011 for NYC to study sketch comedy acting with the Upright Citizens Brigade, founded by Amy Poehler and others. They are the most interesting people I've ever known.
