Mary's Story
Life
After graduating from Triton, I went to Gloucester County Colloge and received my AS degree. I then entered a radiologic technologist program at Cooper Hospital. I was an x-ray/CT tech for about 8 years while I finished school. I went to Rutgers and West Chester for my BS. Then I went to Jefferson for my MS in biotechnology. I did a 6 month internship in a forensic lab while at Jefferson. I currently work for the Indiana State Dept. of Health as a molecular biologist in the bio-terrorism section.
I moved to Indiana for my fiancee' to take advantage of a job opportunity. We bought a house and have 2 dogs.

As of May 2006, I have been working at Roche Diagnostics. I first did technical support for molecular devices and assays and now I am a quality consultant. I am working toward getting certified in project management and taking some courses in quality (regulatory). I just had my first baby, a girl named Mina.
Workplace
Last year I accepted a tech support job at Roche Diagnostics in their molecular division. Roche is less than 2 miles from our house - couldn't turn it down.
In February, I took a new position at Roche as a quality consultant. I am currently taking courses to get certificates in project management.
