Mary's Story
I hope they remember me as the girl who loved Kinston and hated to move from there in 1966.
I couldn't be wild at school because my mom taught Latin at Grainger High!!!
I have lived in Denbigh, VA. I moved to Vicksburg, MS in 1972 with my boy friend who was from there. Then we moved to Pascagoula, MS, where he took an engineering job with the shipyard. We later divorced and I moved to Mobile, AL, to complete my degrees in English and Nursing. After graduating, I moved to Asheville, NC, where my older sister lived with her family. I met my second husband in Asheville. After we divorced, I moved to Charlotte, NC, for a new job. In 1992, I realized my parents were growing older, so I decided to move back to VA to be with my family. I have been in VA ever since, but I do miss Kinston.

Ann Giles. She was my best friend. I have seen her since I moved away from Kinston, but it has been about 20 years since I last saw her.
I never had any children, just animals and husbands. I presently have a Maltese and Bischon. Their names are Harley and Pete and are almost 4 years old. I have had mostly Golden Retrievers during my life. The last one, named Bear, stole my heart. I sure do miss him, still.
I love jewelry, shoes, pocket books and clothes. Just can't seem to get enough!!!!
I live with a man named Jim. He is the sweetest man I have ever been with. He is very, very good to me. He is almost perfect!!!!
I loved going our beach house in Swansboro, NC. My dad and I went just about every week-end. We would fish and eat greasy cheeseburgers with fries!!! My dad was a very special man.
