Where I Have lived I currently live in Colorado on the Front Range. I have lived in Canada in a converted grainery and a log cabin, near the beach in California, on a farm in Kansas, near the Applachian Trail in Virginia. I have been flooded out of home in Michigan. Life has been full of ups and downs. Family The most important thing in my life is my relationship with my two grown daughters. My daughters are my best friends as well as wonderful daughters. The younger one lives a few miles away from me with her wonderful husband. My older daughter and her husband live a little over an hour away. I have been divorced for years (married name was Erts). Elementary and High School I was an Army brat so I attended 4 schools by the time I finished fourth grade but I managed to only attend one high school. I had some teachers who inspired me and believed in me. That helped a lot. And I loved to learn when it did not involve memorizing information only to regurgitate it for a test. College I attended George Washington University between my junior and senior years in high school - a growing experience indeed. To earn my undergraduate degree in English, I attended University of Michigan and U.C.L.A. - U of M during the school year and U.C.L.A. during the summers. ...Expand for more
