I now live in Donna, TX after living in Oklahoma City, OK from 1968-2013.. I married in 1967, but lost the first love of my life, Bill to a heart attack in 1993, after 26 years of marriage,. We had two beautiful daughters, both of whom are married and have made me a very proud grandma. When Bill and I married I also acquired three step children who I loved dearly, two daughters and one son. I remarried in 1998 but sadly Bob, the second love of my life, passed in 2009 from a rare blood disease. We had been married for 11 years. . As for a career, it has been quite diversified. I even tried my hand at real estate and then auto sales. I hated real estate but loved being a Fleet and Lease Manager for several years. In my spare time I worked hard at my dream of being an entertainer. I became a country singer with my own band for about 10 years and did quite well earning several awards and cutting some records while holding down a day job and being a wife and mom. But I had a major life changing decision and began to serve the Lord. I am now retired now after almost 20 years of being a minister. Having lots of fun going to dances, bowling and just enjoying life in general. Feb 2014 update: I did in fact sell my home in Oklahoma City and moved to Donna, Texas here in the Rio Grande Valley. It is something I think I should have done years ago as I really love it here and the people in the park where I am are wonderful. There is so much to do that I am rarely home except to sleep..LOL!! April 2014 update: Once again God has blessed me abundantly. I met Doug, who is from Iowa, at one of the functions I attended and it wasn't long till we were going out all the time. He popped the question in front of all our friends one day just recently and presented me with a beau...Expand for more
