Mary's Story
Life
I've been married for almost 27 years and live in Oakley, in the eastern part of Contra Costa County. I have a son, Andy, aged 25 who is married with a 4 year old daughter, Kailey, and a newborn daughter, Faerlene. Yes, I am a grandma! He works for the city of Benicia in the maintenance department. My daughter is nearly 22 and graduated (with honors) in Biology at UC Santa Cruz in June. She lives in San Francisco. My husband, Al, was a 1965...Expand for more
graduate of Oceania High in Pacifica, and has been employed for the past 20+ years in construction. I've worked part time most of my adult life in administrative and accounting capacities. Currently I work 2 part time jobs; I handle the books for a wine distributor who ships Napa & Sonoma wines to the east coast, and also for the Oakley Chamber of Commerce. As "empty nesters", we enjoy going on cruises and travelling in general when we get a chance.
