Mary's Story
October 29, 2008. Well, here I am 44 years old and married nearly 25 years! Where have the years gone? My husband, Steve and I have 2 boys, Shane, 24 and Darrell 20. Both boys are out of the house now and living together out on their own. We have two dogs, Bandit, a Border Collie Mix and Franfurter, a Dachsund/Jack Russell Mix. I still see each other at least once a year. I have been blessed with many friends in KC. I am now working for a company by the name of National Starch. We manufacture starch from corn which is used as a food additive. I work in the procurement department ordering bulk chemicals and packaging supplies. It's interesting and the people are great. For the most part, life is good.
