Mary's Story
Hi, Mary (Perez) Miller here, graduated in 1970. Didn't get married right away like some and only took a course or 2 at a community college. Started working at Bell South, now ATT... for a few years, married Dario Scott (graduated '71)in 1975, we have 3 girls, now ages 34, 30 & 27. I have 5 grandchildren (4 boys, 1 girl) ranging in ages from 9 yrs - 2 mos. I'm a busy grandmother... had a few jobs along the way, but not working now due to lay off. I did attend the first couple of reunions, but the most recent. Lived on the westbank for a while (13yrs) Now I am in Metairie, we were very blessed to have not been devasted by Katrina and able to return home, with just one Oak tree coming down in the yard. Layne & I live a quiet life, he is an electrician and has been for almost 30 yrs. We stay busy with the grandkids,helikes to fish & we go camping as much as time will allow. So this is me pretty much in a nut shell.
